Utah Briefs: Sandy 12-Year-Old Wins 100-Pound National Title

Sandy's William Kilpack, 12, won a national title in the 100-pound division (12 and under) at the Reno (Nev.) Nationals over the weekend.  Kilpack pinned every opponent and allowed just two points at the Reno Livestock Events Center.

Derek Fisher, 8, of Lindon, placed second in the 49-pound division (8 and under) after working his way back from the consolation bracket after a first-round loss to the eventual champion.

Finishing fourth in their divisions were Garrick Kilpack, 6, of Sandy (43 pounds) and Jake Johnson, 15, of Sandy (15 and under 157).
